Monia Bonkoungou

Monia Bonkoungou, originally from Burkina Faso, relocated to the USA in 2010. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Following this, she pursued a Master’s degree in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University. Currently, Monia is a medical student based in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Raised in the Catholic faith, she embraced Christianity in 2017, dedicating her life to Christ. Since then, she has wholeheartedly followed the Lord, focusing on deepening her relationship with Him and spreading His message. Evangelism holds a special place in Monia’s heart, driving her to engage in street and international evangelism. Her aspiration is to share the gospel across the US and globally.

Monia is an extroverted individual with a strong affection for people. She eagerly participates in activities that involve serving and caring for others. During her leisure time, she finds joy in reading Christian literature, hiking, dancing, watching documentaries, styling natural hair, and dressing up.
