Ibukun

Ibukun serves as leader of the Manna House book club, a vibrant platform fostering the growth of its members through the joy of reading and enriching Christian literature. Hailing from Nigeria, he moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Now, he’s pursuing his Ph.D. in the lively city of Miami, where he shares his life with Iyanu, his lovely wife.

Academically, Ibukun’s research centers around examining the relationship between online shopping and travel demand, with implications for transport modeling and forecasting. Beyond his academic pursuits and church commitments, he finds delight in various leisure activities. You’ll often catch him engaged in spirited table tennis matches or immersing himself in the suspenseful world of thriller and horror movies. His intellectual curiosity finds expression in his penchant for podcasts and thought-provoking debates. Overall, Ibukun places great value on fellowship, both with the Lord and his fellow Christians, and he hopes to inspire this same sense of communion and connection in others.
